What Slows Down a Hair Dryer Sourcing Project?
These are the worries buyers raise most often, and how we answer each one.
Supplier claims we cannot verify
We publish our factory area, production lines and test equipment, and we accept factory audits by appointment.
Unsure which certificates our market needs
Our products hold CE, RoHS, CB, FCC and KC certifications, and each certificate is shown on this page.
Bulk goods may not match the sample
Mass production starts only after you sign the approved sample, and every order passes a final quality inspection.
Spec sheets are hard to compare
Every model in our catalog lists the same fields, from rated power and voltage to carton quantity.
Not sure what a quote needs
Send the product model, quantity, target market and customization needs, and we can quote from there.
Customization rules feel unclear
We confirm color, private label, logo and packaging options against written MOQs before any sample is made.
Why a Factory Wrote This Hair Dryer Sourcing Guide
This hair dryer sourcing guide is written by Hengrui Tech, a hair dryer and styling tool manufacturer in Jieyang, Guangdong, China. We have run our own factory since 2022, with an R&D team, 5 production lines and in-house testing. The checks on this page come from the questions overseas buyers ask us before they place an order.
Most sourcing problems start with information that cannot be checked. A supplier lists a certificate but cannot show it. A spec sheet leaves out the voltage. A sample is approved, but the bulk order changes. This page sets out what to ask a supplier and what you should expect in return.
Each answer here is tied to something you can verify: our certificates, our product catalog, our test equipment and our factory photos. Topics that need more depth, such as dryer technology and market compliance, will get their own guides in this Resources section.
We make hair dryers, high-speed hair dryers, salon hair dryers and styling sets, and we also make hair straighteners and curling irons. If your question is not covered here, our team will answer it directly.
Hair Dryer Sourcing Guide: What to Check Before You Order
Use these checks to compare suppliers on facts you can verify, not on claims.
Factory or Trading Company?
Ask to see the production floor, not only a showroom. Hengrui Tech accepts factory audits and visits by appointment, arranged by our Business Director.
Certificates for Your Market
Match each certificate to the country you sell in. Our products hold CE, RoHS, CB, FCC and KC, and we export to more than 30 countries.
Test Equipment on Site
Ask which tests run inside the factory itself. We use 6 electrical performance testers, an aging test machine and a drop test machine.
Signed Sample Before Production
Approve a pre-production sample built to your confirmed specification, with your logo applied. Mass production starts only after your signed sample approval.
Customization Rules in Writing
Confirm color, logo, label and packaging options against written MOQs before you plan a launch. Our OEM and ODM page lists each MOQ.
Packing and Shipping Marks
Check the retail box, carton size and carton marks before the order ships. We print carton shipping marks free on every custom order.
How to Read Hair Dryer Specifications
Every model in our catalog lists the same hair dryer specifications, so you can compare models line by line.
Rated Power
Rated power shows how much electricity the dryer draws at full output. Most of our high-speed hair dryers are rated 1450–1600W.
Voltage and Frequency
Voltage must match the mains supply of your target market. Most catalog models run on 220–240V at 50/60Hz.
Speed and Heat Settings
Settings show how users control airflow and temperature. The HL333 has 2 speeds and 4 heat settings; the HL999 has 3 of each.
Protection Features
Every model in our catalog lists power-off protection and overheat protection. Some models also list NTC protection.
Cold Shot Button
A cold shot switches the airflow to cool air. On many of our models, a long press on the button turns it on.
Weight and Packing Data
Each record lists bare weight, cord length, color box size and carton quantity. These figures help you plan freight and storage.

Hair Dryer Sourcing Questions From Buyers
Which hair dryer certification do I need for the EU market?
For the EU, buyers usually ask for CE and RoHS, and our products hold both. CE supports EU market access, and RoHS covers the restriction of hazardous substances. We also hold CB, FCC and KC for other markets. Tell us your target country and we will share the matching certificate before you order.
What does a CB test report do for my order?
A CB test report shows that a product was tested under the IECEE CB Scheme for international electrical safety. Countries that accept CB test reports can use it when they review market access, which helps if you sell in several markets. Our products hold CB certification, and the certificate is shown on this page.
Why do some of your models share the same specifications?
Some models in our catalog share identical specifications under different model numbers, for example the HL999 and HL999A. They have the same rated power, settings and protection features but a different design. This lets you compare looks without checking every specification again. Ask us which models share specifications when you build your shortlist.
What should a sourcing request include?
A sourcing request should include the product model, order quantity, target market and customization needs. With these four points, we can confirm color, private label, logo and packaging options against our MOQs and plan the sample. If you have not chosen a model yet, describe your target buyer and we will suggest models from our catalog.
Can we audit your factory before placing an order?
Yes. Hengrui Tech accepts customer factory audits and visits by appointment, arranged by our Business Director. You can see injection molding, assembly, testing and packing in our 5,000 m² factory in Jieyang, Guangdong, China. Please contact us in advance so we can plan the visit around your schedule.
Where can I find MOQ details for custom orders?
Our OEM and ODM page lists the MOQ for every customization option. In short, MOQs start from 500 pcs for private label and silk-screen logo printing, and they are higher for custom colors and custom packaging. Carton shipping marks are printed free on all custom orders.
How do you make sure bulk orders match the approved sample?
We send you a pre-production sample with your logo and confirmed details, and mass production starts only after your signed approval. During production, units go through performance, safety, aging and drop tests. Every order then passes a final quality inspection before packing.
Which voltage do your catalog hair dryers use?
Most models in our catalog run on 220–240V at 50/60Hz. The catalog also lists a few 220V models and one 110–240V model. Check the voltage line on each specification sheet against the mains supply in your market, and tell us your target country so we can confirm the right model.
